EcoDiscoveries is committed to improving the health of people and the planet by providing safe and effective household cleaning products. We believe that information is the first step toward changing how people view household chemicals. Our science and ingenuity generate alternatives for a health-conscious and eco-conscious planet.

Our History:

EcoDiscoveries is the beautiful stumble-upon of Sorbent Technologies. Marc and David have been selling quality chromatography and life science products since 2000. In 2001, their scientific endeavors lead them to discover enzyme-based cleaning formulas. They tried several target specific enzymes and finally in 2006 the safest and most effective were singled out. In 2007 the EcoDiscoveries brand began producing MoldZyme, AirZyme, and MultiZyme.

Due to the popularity of the EcoDiscoveries enzyme products, Marc and David felt a demand for a broad spectrum of cleaners with the same level of safety and toughness. They consulted with resident chemist Eric and developed target specific formulas to help everyday people with green cleaning. The plant-based cleaners soon followed. Kitchen, Bathroom, Tub & Tile, Glass, and Nursery were released later that year with overwhelming excitement.

Our Science:

EcoDiscoveries is committed to using the only safest ingredients available. We have our own earth-loving scientists who formulate our cleaners. Through our technology, we can harness the power of nature to provide effective solutions for Whole Home Cleaning. We employ naturally occurring enzymes, plant-based surfactants, and organic mineral salts to tackle your toughest cleaning chores.

In order to comply with EPA standards and the Safer Detergents Stewardship Initiative, we are committed to using only safer surfactants. Our cleaning products will never contain any petroleum derivatives, chlorine, ammonia, caustics, irritants, fragrances, or dyes. We know these chemicals are harmful to the health of what’s most important: our families and our planet.

We believe rigorous testing is the best way to ensure our products are safe and effective. After we mix the toughest and more natural plant ingredients, we test them ourselves. Then we send each product to universities and third party testers to make sure we got it right. Because of EcoDiscoveries, we finally have green cleaners that work!
