That's Nifty......

Our customers are doing things with our products we never thought possible. We haven’t tried them ourselves or tested them in the lab, but we thought THAT’S NIFTY and we wanted to share it with you. First, let's define what a Green cleaning product is:

What's inside: A green cleaning product is free of petrochemicals, caustics, chlorine, and ammonia.

What's outside: It is packaged in recyclable material by workers who are paid a living wage in clean, safe conditions.

Production considerations: Green products are manufactured in countries with ethical employment standards. Local is always the best environmental choice.

Greenwasher #1: Method Cleaning products use petrochemicals. The hand wash in particular lists benzophenone, a petroleum derived chemical. The wipes package says it is made in China, a country known for its human rights violations. The wipes package does not indicate recycling instructions. Heavy weight plastic bags are hard to recycle in many parts of the US.

More Greenwashers to come...
